As of 08 June 2019, Danish applications will not be received from our Gaziantep office.

We advise all visa applicants to refrain from using any paid services from touts, unauthorized agents or translation offices standing outside our visa application center. Our experience suggests that the information provided by such sources is often incorrect and misleading. Please note that the VFS Visa Application Center has no affiliation to these entities.


To apply for visa in Ankara,Istanbul İzmir. and Antalya VACs, you need to schedule appointment from our website or from our Call Center (0212 373 58 03).

Walk-in clients are always welcome to submit their applications without a prior appointment.

Note: At planned visit with a preferred time slot via an appointment at the Visa Application Centre guarantees prompt service, thus eliminating longer waiting time resulting in inconvenience.

The visa applications could be submitted at the visa application centre's in Ankara, Istanbul. İzmir or Antalya. Applications submitted in Ankara will be assessed by The Embassy of Denmark, located in Ankara and applications submitted in Istanbul will be assessed by The Consulate General of Denmark in Istanbul. We offer the option of courier service for return of passport and documents submitted, directly to your door step.

For Prospective Applicants

Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the risk of your application being incomplete or take a longer time to being processed.

In order to be able to travel as planned, visa applicants should submit their visa application at least 15 calendar days before the date of the intended travel. The period it takes to examine and reach a decision in a visa case may be extended to up to 30-60 calendar days in individual cases, if further scrutiny of the application is needed.

Please note that personal appearance is always required, an entry clearance officer / manager would require a personal interview at The Embassy of Denmark, Ankara/ The Consulate General of Denmark, Istanbul prior to a decision being taken on your application. The Visa Application Centre shall assist you to take an appointment for the same.

Step 1 : Applications for Danish visa and residence permits are accepted at the Visa Application Centre.
Step 2 : Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre: To visit Visa Application Centre you need to Schedule Appointment. You can book an appointment online or by calling the Call Centre. Details provided on this website to schedule an appointment.

Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents. Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of The Embassy of Denmark, Ankara / The consulate General of Denmark, Istanbul.

"Note: Applicants applying for short-term visas (up to 90 days), who do not have private accommodation, should provide proof of a bank credit balance of the equivalent of at least 46 Euro per day of the total number of days they intend to stay in Denmark. If a reference guarantees the applicant’s accommodation as well as financial support during the stay in Denmark, this amount will not be required. However, the applicant must still prove that he/she has financial means to cover basic needs during his/her stay in Denmark. It should be emphasized that filing an application without providing proof of the 46 Euro/day will not automatically result in a refusal of the application.
